If you’ve seen a woman running through a field with a phone in one hand, a tray of seedlings in the other, and a look of caffeinated determination on her face—don’t worry, that’s just me!
Spring has arrived at Clumsy Goose Farm, and to say I am overwhelmed would be an understatement. But it is the very best kind of overwhelmed. I am so deeply grateful for the incredible influx of inquiries and orders we’ve received. Every email and message means the world to me.
The Planner vs. The Reality The "Type A" planner in me wants to have every single detail for every inquiry etched in stone right this second. I want to give you all the answers immediately! But Mother Nature has a way of teaching patience. I’ve had to constantly remind myself to take a breath and take each one as it comes. In the world of flower farming, sometimes you just have to wait for the bloom to tell you when it’s ready.
The April & May Rush Between Easter and Mother’s Day, the pace is electric. Currently, I’m playing a high-stakes game of Tetris: managing what’s popping up in our own fields while sourcing beautiful stems from my wonderful fellow farmers who have greenhouse space. It’s a tall order to coordinate, but seeing the finished arrangements makes every mile driven worth it.
Where to Find Me (The "One-Woman Show" Edition) Life as a solo grower means my hands are usually in the dirt, and I’m often running around like a headless chicken. While I’m doing my best to keep the website updated, Instagram is the best place for real-time news and daily farm antics.

A Dream Taking Root I truly don’t know what I would do without my family. Their support is the soil that lets this business grow. Speaking of support—if you’ve been by the farm lately, you might have noticed some major earth-moving.
With my husband’s constant encouragement and the help of a fantastic contractor, my biggest dream is finally coming to life: a dedicated showcase garden and event space. It is going to be stunning. Honestly, once it’s finished, I may never come back inside.
We’ve already booked our first event for the space—a sunset yoga session with Jeni Hanzlik of Bloom Collective Yoga—and let me tell you, it’s going to be absolutely magical.
Thank you for being part of this journey, for your patience during the spring rush, and for choosing local flowers. I can't wait to share this season with you!
